If you have an Asian butchers that does veg near you you can sometimes get such good deals my husband just came home with a massive bag of onions like 20 for £1.60 usually in the shops you pay that for three onions
Yeah we probably spend the same 2 adults and twins (21 months) I usually so a online shop at Asda which costs around £115 the probably spend another £20-30 most weeks in the cheap shops like herons or home bargains etc…it’s crazy. We very rarely get takeaways
Average 130 a week. 2 adults 1 child and 2 cats
@Nina where do you shop
@Jade I’ve spent loads in Morrisons you get nothing back, when you do it turns into £5😭
@Jade £200 a month is good m, very low
We do around £100 on main shop which lasts us 2 weeks (£200 a month) then around £10 on any fresh we might need to grab such as milk, bread, cheese, eggs PW. Totals to about £240/250 PM for a house of 3 - 2 Adults & 14 MO. I found using Tesco & Sainbury’s the best at the moment, especially if you online shop because they do Flexi Saver slots which cost £1-£2 instead of £5! We also found swapping some brands to own brands such as bread, yogurts, eggs, cheese helped us save hugely. We also buy meat (if you eat it!) in bigger packets and spilt them/freeze/defrost for meals. That in itself has made a HUGE difference for us with pricing. We use to do £100 a week (£400 PM) so for us to now be able to nearly half that is massive for us. Sainsbury’s and Tesco have a lot of coupons which you can download onto your card if you use their apps. Extra nectar points, triple/double points as well as it sometimes generating your own clubcard/nectar prices that are different to shop prices.
Around £120 per week just me and my 15 month old 🥲
Averaging £200 a month for me and my 22 month old. Prices just keep going up. I find the Morrison card rubbish spent £50 today and saved £1 🙄. I also find fruit and veg aren’t lasting long either
