@Rosanda i started feeling mine already so mines reduced movement which isn’t a good thing as my baby already started moving xx
Unfortunately it’s too early to call it reduced movements. The midwives would only be able to listen in and see if the heart beat sounds okay. Unless you have any bleeding or fluid leaking they’re not going to do much more than
I wouldn’t worry. This early it’s easy to miss movements or they can vary how much day to day. That’s why a lot of drs don’t have you count movements until later in the pregnancy
No you don’t need to worry. It’s unlikely triage would even see you this early. When you are busy and doing stuff the natural rocking movement tends to keep baby asleep plus as you are so early they are tiny and even a small change in their position can mean you don’t feel them
I wouldn’t worry but I would go get checked just to make sure everything is okay. I started to feel mine move at 18 weeks and went to the ER one time because I couldn’t feel her move. They were very sweet about easing my mind and did an ultrasound ☺️ I went in 3 more times during my pregnancy for other reasons and thankfully she was always fine 😊
I had many times like this early on where I was concerned I hadn’t felt baby when busy and moving around a lot. I always went and laid on my bed and relaxed for a while with a hot drink to decompress and always felt baby shortly after x
@Lottie I didn’t call it reduced movement. I wanted to hear the heartbeat that’s all I needed to feel reassured
@Lauryn what area do you guys live in bc mine always sees me even when I was 5 weeks 🤣 they did see me they see anyone up here when it’s to do with baby. But yeah that’s deffo what happened ☺️ thank you
Yes you did in your previous comment. Triage etc won’t class it as that though due to how early you are so it’s unlikely they will see you. Baby could have just moved. Do you have your 20 week scan soon? You could always book a private scan to put your mind at rest
@Betsy I went and checked and everything is fine ☺️ feel much much better I suffer with anxiety so it’s normal but I’m reassured now. The nurses were so lovely and reassuring too as it’s my first pregnancy. Aww I’m glad I’m not the only one and I’m glad that they were so lovely to you and to me xx
@Katie I tried that and didn’t feel anything but it’s probably bc I have really bad anxiety atm so I couldn’t relax . But thank you I will try do this next time ☺️ xx
@Lauryn either way - they still saw me tho? I don’t get why you’re saying they won’t see me. They saw me just now and yes I was told the information I needed by them and reassured me ☺️Yh I have my 20 week scan on Thursday. Thank you for the advice
I’ve only started feeling my baby at 24 weeks x
