Movement!

Is it normal to have such little movement still at 26 weeks pregnant with an anterior placenta, each day is different, sometimes loads, sometimes so little. How do you track the kicks to see if there is a routine?

With my nearly 20 month old I fount it sooooo hard to track kicks , I could hardly feel a thing , I would literally lay on the bed with a remote or my phone on my tummy and I’d watch my phone go up and down but I still couldn’t feel movements I was about 32 weeks and even then it wasn’t much x

@Kirsty there’s days where I feel and see, and there’s some days where it just feels like flickers, I’m hoping it starts to get a bit more reaching 30 weeks! Is it something to worry about or is it normal?

I've got anterior placenta and only since week 27 I've experienced stronger kicks and more movement - guessing because the baby has gotten bigger and stronger. I think I had a day in week 26 when I was so concerned cause I barely felt any movement.

I’m 29 weeks today with an anterior placenta and only ever feel light kicks or movements, haven’t felt and big movements compared to my past pregnancy x

Im the exact same and this is my second pregnancy, some days I feel such strong movements and the next day they’re so light I’m nearly 26 weeks, it’s so hard to know when to worry! Deffo get it checked if you are ever worried though I’ve been and they always say it’s better to go than not x

@Naomi it’s very normal not to feel much with a anterior placenta laying on the bed used to be my favourite place to be as he would start moving x

Very normal with an anterior placenta. It’ll very much depend on baby’s position to how much/how strong you feel movement. You can get tracking apps on App Store if you’re wanting help to track movement patterns. x

With my first I had an anterior placenta and honestly I think I felt her about 10 times my whole pregnancy! I have a posterior placenta this time and omg she doesn’t stop moving so yeah absolutely normal! You’re placenta is at the front so you won’t really feel much x

My baby had a routine from 16weeks to 24weeks but over the past 5 weeks her routine has slowly disappeared and now she has no routine and doesnt tend to move very often now. Been in triage a few times with reduced movements
