@Katie Iām the same as you, I didnāt have any of these in my first pregnancy but this is the third time Iāve had thrush and then Iāve just found out ive got strep b. Iāve spoken to my midwife and sheās reassured me but Iām a worrier and I canāt help but worry and overthink stuff x
@Libby-mae yeah same here š©I think itāll be okay just make sure we get the antibiotics in labour and that the midwifeās donāt forget. Iām more worried about the step than thrush but thrush is really uncomfortable š© I havenāt worn underwear because itās jus so irritating xx
@Katie I wouldnāt have known I had thrush again if it wasnāt for me doing that swab tbh with you but the other two times I knew, thrush is nothing to worry about at all and neither is the strep b as long as you get antibiotics straight away Iāll make sure to keep telling them haha x
Thatās interesting coz I was told men couldnāt get strep b
@Jade oh really? Well my Partner had a swab and it come up with thatās what he had and he had to have antibioticsš«¶š»
Yep I was told after birthing my second child that I was group b strep and that we both needed to put on antibiotics immediately as a precaution. Iām group b strep again this time and they just said Iāll need antibiotics in labour thatās all. Nothing to worry about at all x

Iāve got it! I didnāt even know what it was apparently itās just normal bacteria and it wonāt harm us but we have to have antibiotics in labour so reduce the risk of the baby getting unwell. I found out at my consultant appointment that I had it that was around 19 weeks ish. And I have thrush as well for the first time this pregnancy and omg it is horrible I didnāt think I had it at first it was swollen but I didnāt have any other signs till a week later but Iāve used canested cream and it helps a lot. I didnāt have any of these in my first pregnancy tho x
