Im 21w5d and my hips and pelvis even my lower back have been in excruciating pain since 20 weeks 😭😭 my dr won’t do nothing
@Jules same here!!!! I see why old people always have an attitude 😂 I have a full length heating pad and it doesn’t even help anymore. At this point, I’m gonna sleep sitting up 😂
@Nikki I’m high risk with APS so it’s one of my symptoms to have joint pains which SUCKS. I told my OB yesterday about what’s going on, she asked have I been using my belly band and I lied and said yes so she could say something other than “try your belly band first then we’ll go from there”😂 she automatically put in a referral for PT, hopefully I start soon😂
@Nikki right?? I’m getting so mad at the medical system now. Why haven’t we studied women’s bodies enough to provide more support? Like the main recommendations I get for everything from vomiting to debilitating fatigue and hip pain is (drum roll please..) “rest, drink water and eat healthy” ….really? REALLY?? 😂 oh and also, keep working that full time job. ;)
@Milan oh man lol but sleeping sitting up will somehow make something ELSE start aching! 😂 the ailments are never ending 😭
@Jules girrllllll don’t get me started about the time I actually had to a few weeks ago because I had a TERRIBLE migraine on the right side and the light from outside (I don’t have black out curtains) was making it worse 😟 I was soooo miserable.
Worth checking with insurance as I don’t need a referral for chiropractor. I did chiro with my first too and it’s a game changer, gets everything working well for the birth too. As I will max out my insurance this year it doesn’t cost any more. The session includes a 15 min soft tissue massage and then 15 mins of adjustments with massage. I can highly recommend but just make sure you go to somebody who specializes in pregnancy. I had to go to a few different people to find the right chiro. I can also recommend ‘pregnancy and postpartum tv’ on you tube for pregnancy/hip related exercises. After doing those a couple of days in a row before bed I feel much better.
Sounds like a chiropractor could help to!
if your insurance covers acupuncture…. book a sesh!!
@Jessi oh no no no, imma fall out 😂😂😂 idk why but I get really bad anxiety when it comes to those needles😂😂😂😂
lmfaooo girl i understand !
Omgggg ! THIS! I feel like I’m 80 years old with the hip pain! Lol It wakes me up at night and the only comfortable position is on my BACK, so I try to sleep at an angle that is almost on my back but not flat. The pregnancy pillow doesn’t help 😫
