They will probably be fine but like another comment said nothing but breast milk or formula until six months when their stomach is more mature and their iron stores start to deplete no water or food until then💕 there are colic/gas drops you can buy though that might help
6-8 weeks is the worst with fussiness but it does get better. I found dentinox drops helped my girl but unfortunately it's the age. It can either be stomach as their insides start to stretch out and everything has more room to digest when they grow it can get better but they're also absolutely new to everything so they can get very overstimulated at this age. Their eyesight and everything improves and suddenly everything is A LOT. I used to take my girl in to a dark room to soothe her in there with her dummy or feed her in a dark room. I know the struggle, it gets so much that you feel like you'll try anything to soothe them. This stage is SO SO hard, just learn from it and keep an eye on them ❤️
@Judy thank you for highlighting this! I will bring this up!!
Your baby will likely be fine but it goes without saying don't do this again. The chance of botulism is still low but there's absolutely no need for a 6 week old to have honey or anything but milk tbh. You're new parents and these things happen so try not to beat yourself up about it but use this as a learning opportunity.
