Yes @Joanna she’s the same! She’ll roll to get off her tummy. Mainly because I put her on front and almost in protest, she will roll on to her back 🤣
My little boy can’t sit unaided but rolls like a maniac. She will just surprise you one day and do it. My wee one hated tummy time until he figured out how to roll and now it’s his favourite position x
I wouldn't worry. My eldest hated tummy time so I never did it. I can't ever remember him rolling but he could sit unaided from 5.5months and he eventually learnt to crawl around 9 months old by leaning forward reaching for toys. Hes a perfectly happy healthy 6 year old now.
@Steff 💕 im thinking exactly this. She’ll probably catch me off guard one day and just do it. It’ll be a game changer for us because a lot of her frustration stems from playing on the floor at the moment and it’s supposed to be a nice thing to do. She sat up randomly so maybe you’ll be able to tick that one off soon
She might need a softer mat possibly but like the other ladies stated. I wouldn’t be concerned too much about that. She might be like me as a baby and jump straight to walking 😉
Maybe try her on your bed. My lo just forgot rolling he started rolling around 5 m and now he rolls only when he’s in a very very good mood - otherwise stays in tummy time and cries 😅
My little boy can’t sit unaided but has just started rolling back to front, every baby is different and do things at different pace
6 months and has never rolled without me assisting! She sits up very well. She is good at tummy time and sometimes she’ll just lay on her back and sing. But she won’t roll to either position. She is pulling to stand though and showing signs of wanting to crawl. I think she’ll just get up one day and be off, don’t think she’ll roll ever, she has no desire to no matter what I do 🤣
My baby doesn’t roll back to tummy as she hates tummy time and just rolls tummy to back as soon as I roll her into her tummy. She has no incentive to do it because she hates being on her front🤣she can sit up and loves standing up with us supporting her etc but just hates being on her tummy. They will just surprise us one day I’m sure 🤣
