Amazon Hiring Process Question

I'm starting to feel a little suspicious about two Amazon interviews I have for Executive Assistant positions. I applied for two positions at the headquarters in Virginia and started the process. For one of the positions a recruiter reached out to me to apply after seeing I applied with another department. I did and we scheduled a prep call before my interview next week. When I asked about how the full process will go I was told that there would be no in person interview before a hiring decision. I found that to be suspicious since this is an in person role. When I tried to bring up this question again I was rushed off the phone and told he had another call. For the other role I tried looking up the person I will interview with and they are no where to be found on Google or LinkedIn. When I am contacted by these people it is usually after well after business hours, even for their time zone, and the names of the people seem suspicious. Am I being paranoid? I'm debating on calling Amazon HR to see if these people actually work for Amazon.

I would send an email to Amazon and see if they are hiring at all.

@Kendel They are. I applied on the website. The interview process just seems weird.
