Have You Shared Your Pregnancy Yet?

Hey mamas! I’m curious — when did you (or when are you planning to) tell family, friends, or coworkers about your pregnancy? We were originally planning to wait until we got to 12 weeks, but I’m wondering what others are planing to do. Currently only the two of us know. Would love to hear your experiences and how you decided when to share!

We’ve told family and close friends, especially after successful ultrasound at 7 weeks. We will go public after our 12 week appointment.

I told my direct family a few days after finding out. Cousins, aunts and uncles. We are all super close and I was way too excited. I haven’t told my co workers because I work fully remote so they can’t see my future growing bump. I don’t want to say anything to my boss until my 12 weeks. I’m dying to post on social media but I’m too scared to so definitely waiting until 12 weeks. I’m happy I told my family because god forbid something happens, I have all their support. ❤️

We are waiting until after our first appointment at 10 weeks and bloodwork for gender comes back ❤️

@Esteffania yes! It’s very exciting. We are hesitant as we had a loss a year ago but are so pleased to have made it further this time.

We are in a very similar situation and i think we will make a decision once we have the first ultrasound🤞🏼 @Katie

We’ve told immediate family members and some friends

I've told coworkers and some close family. We are waiting till 20 ish weeks to announce cause that's when we will know the gender

My work knows since my job requires heavy work and some close friends and family. But I plan to tell my mom on Mother’s Day since that’ll be 12 wks

This is my second and I haven’t told anyone just me and my husband and I didn’t tell anyone until I was 34 weeks with my first

I have told my family and we are telling his mom and stepdad soon today cause we are going out to eat

Our parents know. I was too sick to hide it around them and I needed help with our toddler. A couple close friends we see on a regular basis know for the same reason. We're waiting to tell siblings until our appointment next week and publicly announce after 12 weeks.

My bios have known since 10dpo. I hadn’t been around for two weeks plus… my bio mom had just passed. I was the missing baby girl. They thought I disappeared on them…. I had to tell them dramatic ass men. My adopted parents I told around four weeks. Told my sister at 10dpo. The rest of the family will find out on Easter. Hopefully the in laws never find out. 😆 I don’t plan to tell work till the end.

My parents and siblings know but there the only one right now. Waiting until I get ultrasound to throw it out to the world lol. And with my parents I was visiting them and I was just like "wanna hear a kicker? I'm pregnant again." (I just had my baby last year in march) and my parents were like "you know you don't have to do everything your sister does." Lol. (My twin sister is also pregnant again. She had her baby last year in April so this time she's preggers first and I'm second lol) But with first one I had an ulrasound, newborn winnie the pooh outfit and shirts that said 'soon to be grandma again est 2023'. Something cute like that. 🥰

We told our immediate families and waiting for extended family and friends till after the 12 week mark. It’s been sweet to have it just be family as the little babe is theirs too. Then we’ll do a bigger announcement at 20 weeks I think.
