This was me last night. Took about 3 hours to get him to sleep then he woke 30 minutes later and then took another hour to get him to sleep then he woke an hour later for a feed, took another hour or so to get him back to sleep. Then woke another hour later for another feed, took 30 minutes to get back to sleep at 5:30 then my toddler decided to wake early at 5:30 so I had to get up and baby then slept until 9 🙄 Safe to say I lost a lot of patience, it's so lonely in the middle of the night when your support system are all asleep. They don't hold grudges just give lots of cuddles in the morning and forgive yourself, newborn stage is tough and we're only human.

Don’t feel guilty you’re doing your best and no mum is perfect 100 % of the time and we don’t have all the answers ❤️ babies wake and cry a lot and it’s extremely normal, sometimes you’ve tried everything and nothings working and that’s normal too. Around 3 weeks they cluster feed as they have a growth spurt which causes them to be unsettled snd wake more. It will pass. I find it helps by telling myself the nights where they don’t sleep well don’t last forever. They will sleep eventually and when they do try your best to sleep too (if you can). Definitely rely on support too x

Don’t feel guilty! It’s normal to feel this way! I was the same! My little one was awake every 2 hours and then when I fed him he was then awake for a hour after! By the time he went to sleep my toddler was then awake!

Thank you for all the messages it makes me feel better that I’m not alone 🥰

I find comfort in knowing that them waking is them avoiding SIDS. It’s difficult but it will pass xx
