When to track movements?

I’m 23 weeks 3 days and baby boy definitely has a pattern of kicking mid morning and evening times! When do we start to track incase of changes/reduced movements? X

Just a day ahead of you 😆

At my 24 week appointment my midwife told me that if baby has a usual pattern to keep track of that and if she stops being as active etc to phone the hospital for a check. But I’ve heard other peoples midwife’s say different😅

Ahh stop I’m due on the same day as you! I’m wondering the same thing xx

I’ve been wondering this too. I’m just about to turn 27wks with an anterior placenta. Before my 24 week appointment I’d seen triage for reduced movements but my midwife seemed surprised we’d been seen before 28 weeks🥴 I don’t have any sort of pattern yet

@Aminah its going so fasttt for me! X

@Rosie how exciting! Have you noticed a pattern yet? Xx

@Jess I’ve got anterior placenta as well so my movements can feel different depending on babies position x

I’ve been tracking since about 22 weeks (posterior placenta so I’ve had regular movements for a while). I don’t keep track of individual kicks just ‘sessions’ of movement and whilst she’s not fully in a pattern she’s been consistent with the amount of sessions I feel each day (increasing most weeks). I can highly recommend the Kicks Count app as it’s nice and simple! 😊

I’m now 25 weeks and I’ve been tracking since 23. Definitely been kicking more frequently in the evenings and first thing in the morning. They sleep when you’re active and kick when you’re not… sods law!! 😂

@Holly yes! Baby is definitely more active in the evenings and seems to sleep through the afternoon🤣how about you? Xx

@Rosie awwww🥰 my little ones quiet early morning and then seems to be active around late morning/Lunch time and then late afternoon/evening times he goes crazy😂 xx
