This is my first so I have 100% over packed but my friends said the ones not everyone thinks of but is an absolute is lip balm as the gas and air dries your lips out! And a hand held fan as the ward is so hot!

There’s also a recommended list on nhs website, hope this helps x https://www.nhs.uk/start-for-life/pregnancy/preparing-for-labour-and-birth/hospital-bag-checklist/

Pack 3 bags, one for you, one for baby and one for yourself! A few things to consider that are not on the NHS guidelines are: - water bottle with a straw and you need to drink water but hard to drink from a bottle in between contractions -3m phone charger as the plug sockets are far from the bed - a comb to hold onto when you’re giving birth as it helps with pain reduction - a postpartum wrap (if you didn’t have a c section) to support your abdominal area It’s such a stressful process which is why I started My Baby Nest it’s mum curated and follows NHS guidelines. All the best hun! X
