@Joely they can’t not allow you. So many things with my first baby they ‘didn’t allow me to do’ and now I’ve realised after so many things were wrong in that situation. I had an emergency c section and it’s been written in my notes as elective and that I asked for it which was the complete opposite
I haven't had a home birth but I have asked midwife about it. I had a c-section with my first and in my birth reflections appointment I asked if they'd support a home birth vbac, and was told that I would be supported, with a low threshold for transfer. The stance probably differs between hospitals and practitioners though. For reference I had a cat 2 emergency section for foetal distress from drip. No complications during or after the procedure. The choice is yours if you want a home birth, even if hospital aren't supportive. I would recommend getting a doula to support and advocate for you xx
I didn’t think they allowed it do they? I think it depends on reason for your Csection… I had 2 natural uncomplicated deliveries and then had my son via emergency csection at 31 weeks and they told me even a VBAC was unlikely due to the X cut I had but I would ask an earthly natural mummas page on facebook as they’ll be more well versed xx
