First trimester blues

Anyone else in their first trimester just a bit miserable while pregnant? I'm 8 weeks and since 6 weeks it's been pretty rough. I'm on multiple medication just so I don't vomit continuously but I'm still super nauseous and exhausted and it's making me miserable. I haven't even been able to walk my dog so my husband has to do it everyday now. Is there light at the end of the tunnel?

what meds are you on? unfortunately ppd/a hit me at 5 1/2 months and it’s been hard, they gave me lexapro 5mg but i’m nervous to take it ): but i know there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.

There is light at the end of the tunnel. My pregnancy was pretty rough as well, but I promise it will eventually get better, pregnancy can't last forever ❤️ @Julia I've been on 20mg Lexapro pre pregnancy/during pregnancy and post pregnancy! If you want to chat about it I'm open to answering any questions you might have that could help put your mind at ease!

I was being sick until about 12 weeks & after that it died down & i was okay for the last few months, pregnancy doesn’t last forever💕 you’ve got this x

I hated my first trimester. It was hell for me. Once I hit 11 weeks, it got so much better! I'm now 20 weeks, and I forgot how the first 11 weeks were like! Xx

ugh, I totally feel you! the first trimester can be such a struggle, but I've heard it usually gets better after week 12, so hang in there! 💕 this is what the 'Heal App' mentioned… hope it helps! "I'm really sorry to hear that you're feeling this way; the first trimester can be incredibly challenging for many women. It's common to experience nausea and fatigue during this time, and it sounds like you're doing your best to manage it with medication. Many people find that symptoms start to improve around the end of the first trimester, around 12 weeks, so there is hope that you'll feel better soon. In the meantime, try to rest as much as possible and stay hydrated, as this can help with nausea. Have you found any specific foods or drinks that help ease your symptoms, even a little?"
