I'm just chiming in because I posted almost an identical question when I was pregnant with my second. We LOVED the name Rya for a girl, but her brother's name is Ryker and I really worried they would be too similar and I almost let the results of a silly online poll from a bunch of people I don't know influence my decision on whether or not to name her Rya (when I already knew we both truly loved and felt connected to the name). So despite the final results of this poll, just keep that in mind 🤍 I think the two names you chose are super cute and honestly not too similar at all, and if you feel connected to that name that's all that matters at the end of the day! 🙂👍
Name your baby whatever you want! 😘 We have Riley & Rylend (my bonus son), and we also have Rhett & Wyatt. Totally not intentional, but names we loved and just went with.
My kids are named Pauly, Camilla and Alina I think the girls sound alike but I love it I chose too similar by accident! I love Harrison and Madison together

I think it’s the perfect in between! We had another boy I was going to do another name with the same ending I think that’s cute!
Quite matchy but definitely not too similar. If you’re only going to have 2 go for it. But if you’re planning to have more I think it would be weird not to keep up the matching endings and you might run out of son ending names (especially for girls) fairly quickly

Yes its similar but I think thats the awesome part of it. Like my son is called Maddox and if we have a girl I'm going name her Madelyn bc i wanted it to be similar to his. I just think that's cute especially since they are gonna be only a year apart.
