No they don’t but my partner stayed till 11
I tried my hardest for him to stay but they don’t allow them
That’s the saddest part, when your body needs rest you are trying to take care of new born

nope, i had an emergency section and hadn’t slept for 3 days and he had to go home 🫣 i literally begged them to let me go home xx
Hi girl! I asked my midwife about this since i’m planning to go to the birthing center at oldham! she said to me that our hospital is really good with partners and they’re extremely involved in the entire process. She told me that they can also stay the entire duration until I go home. That’s what my midwife told me and it could be wrong/ different if you’re planning to go onto L&D ward xx
I’m due my 4th soon and all been with Oldham, last one was an emergency section, It depends who the night midwife’s are and if they are super nice in my experience, My 1st baby he was able to stay with us, my son was covid so no and my 3rd he ended up going home because we don’t have any help with childcare but if he could he would of been able to stay as I had them ask me a few times where he is and if you have your own room they can 100% xx
No unfortunately they don’t - I had my baby at Oldham hospital 7 months ago and they didn’t let my partner stay or any of the other partners that were there , they could only stay until 10pm. Due to this I actually asked if I could be discharged because I felt fine and I really didn’t feel comfortable staying there without my partner - so I gave birth at 1pm and I left the hospital at 7pm. It’s so sad that they do this considering we need the help and support after birth not to be alone and isolated 😓
No my sons dad had to leave at 10pm but then came back next day. Me and my son were in for 5 days
No, I had a section and my partner had to leave at night and come back in the morning. I had a room of my own because my baby was rushed off to NICU x
