8 weeks & super sick

I feel you <3 I got prescribed zofran too. Mine started getting worse this week (9 weeks) but luckily it hasn’t been that bad. The good thing is apparently it can subside when the placenta takes over in a few weeks. If not then probably by the second trimester. Either way it’s usually only temporary and it’ll be so worth it in the end 🥹 I hope your zofran works

I get super sick with pregnancy, too. I'm one of the not so lucky ones who stay that way the entire pregnancy. 😕 keep a close eye on your bowel movements, as Zofran can cause constipation. I had a bad go with it and ended up in the ER in excruciating pain, thinking the worst.

i went thru it too i was prescribed diclegis i heard it was a lot better and made things easier for me!

Try ginger for the nausea!

I’m in the same boat. I was more sick with my first cus I never took Zofran. I lost 30lbs. I took it this time and feel better and haven’t been throwing up but constantly feel hungover is the only way to describe it 😭

I can’t eat nothing girly and the only way I’ll keep liquids down is if I sip it but I be wanting to gulp down my water bc I be so thirsty I hate it here and I have a 1 year old I have to chase around

I was prescribed Zofran with my 1st but with this one both the specialist Dr. I went to for fertility and my ob said no because of cleft lip new study found. Just thought I'd share this maybe check with your OBs. She gave me promethazine every 6 hours as needed because I throw up with nausea and was diagnosed with HG the 1st time and lost so much weight. I am still nauseous and throw up but I eat a lot more and have gained 10lbs this time and I'm 12 weeks today.
