Natural labour and on blood thinners

I’m 33 weeks and have my next consult appt this week. Just out of curiosity, has anyone had a natural birth/VBAC, whilst on blood thinning injections? 1. At what point during first stage of labour did you not take your injections? 2. How long did they leave you before intervention? My worry is I’ll start having contractions, I’ve already been advised I won’t take my next injection, but I’m worried how long I’ll be left. I don’t want to do 24hrs of labour for them to turn around and say I need a c-section or hormone drip as intervention! Any advice or experiences much appreciated 🫶

Following because I'm also wondering the same thing ! X

So, I haven’t had labour yet but I am on blood thinning medication for life and had my consultant meeting 3 weeks ago and went to the birthing centre this week to do my birth plan. I was told to start taking my injection in the morning and if there is any indication I may go into labour that day, then I would need to not take my injection. They will re start my injections 4-6 hours after birth. I haven’t been told that they will intervene and they have basically said I can give birth. My care plan also doesn’t suggest that there would be any intervention if birth doesn’t progress within 24 hours You can’t have an epidural until you have had 12 hours off your medication. They advised me to have the hormone injection to help with the third stage of labour and that I may also be given another drug through a drip over 4 hours to help reduce my bleeding. I was also told they would want to do everything to avoid interventions that could cause a higher risk of clotting I.e c sections
