Feeding

I’ve been breastfeeding my girl (first baby) for almost 6 months now. She has taken bottled breast milk no bother. But i’ve decided due to a number of factors to now switch to formula. However after trying her on formula on a few occasions she refuses. I feel like I’m at a loss :( Im wondering what other mamas are doing or have done to make the transition easier? And just a bit of advice ☺️

Mix some of your breast milk with some formula and gradually reduce the amount of breast milk you put in the bottle. I had to do this when we transitioned my bf baby to whole milk at 12 months. I also highly recommend Hipp organic formula. I find the other ones are incredibly rich and can upset a babies tummy if they aren’t used to it

I have this too, I think she prefers it when my husband bottle feeds her. And if she’s really hungry then she’ll definitely go for it

My baby has breast milk and now having some formula as I wasn’t producing enough she took to it fine we are using kendamil ? Maybe try that one if you can. Also it could be to do with the temperature? Experiment with that or she might be struggling to get the formula from the teat if it’s really slow flow
