It’s only been 4 days! Just focus on resting up! Your body is still adjusting to not carrying your baby any more, your uterus will be shrinking back down to its before size but this takes time. It can take up to a couple of months for it to go back to before so just focus on looking after yourself and baby and let your body do its thing ♥️ I get how you feel and it’s a shock but it’s completely normal and not permanent x
I had a c section 3 years ago n the hanging is still there for me..
It’s a shock to see your body so different to what it was prior but you bought a beautiful baby into the world and that’s incredible! Just focus on resting and healing and looking after the baba and your body will do its own recovery (uterus shrinking, scar healing)
i felt the same, it’s been nearly 10 weeks for me, and it is slowly, very slowly improving… but the fact it is improving is making me happier for sure, hang in there - more confident days ahead! xxx
Its normal to feel thay way but pls be kind to yourself. You went through a lot and youve done such an amazing job. You gave a lot of you to have your little one. The stomach will bounce back, not right away but if you do a bit of exercise once you can, the stretched skin will slowly go back. It might not be as flat as it used to be, but its our little reminder of an amazing thing weve done to have our little one :) You got this momma! Your LO thinks of you as the most beautiful creature, flat tummy or not. X
It’s normal to feel that way but remember it’s only been 4 days your perfect and you grew your baby from scratch! You should be proud of yourself for going through that surgery! 💗💗
You had a major operation and you gave birth to another human being. It that’s a lot of effects on yourself and your body. Please rest and be kind to yourself. You need to give time to your body to heal.
Don’t worry your uterus takes 8 weeks to shrink back. Don’t expect for the over hang to go until at least then
