I was just going to post about this! 9 weeks old tomorrow and other than her bedtime routine we just going with the flow😂 but I want more of a routine / schedule x

8 week old here and we're just letting him decide, will startt looking at a routine in a few months

Not a strict routine but we do activity mat/ tummy time in the morning around 10ish, then a short nap, feeding around 1pm and then out for a walk. Some more activity mat in the afternoon, short walk around 6pm if the weather is nice, bath time after that, and feeding around 9pm. He is 2 months today.

Only part of a routine i have is that baby is awake around 6am and I feed him booby then top up formula then hand over to dad so I can have a shower, I have signed up to a few baby classes/groups. And evening routine sort of as I give another top up formula around 7/8pm and last booby feed at 9pm. But each day is different in terms of the daytime. At the moment at 9 weeks and baby is still very fussy due to feeding issues/weight gain issues so just trying to make it through each day at the moment

Mine is just survive 😂

@Yana my little one is two months old today as well :) We just feed and let her sleep on demand but loosely she is napping around 4 times in the day. My husband has her from 9-12 in the evening so I can get some uninterrupted sleep and then she will usually wake a few times for feeding during the night, we are doing a combination of sleeping in her crib and bed sharing with me depending on how she is. We start the day at 7am, lots of natural daylight and singing/chatting/playing. We'll move to a more fixed bedtime routine when she is approx 4 months I think xx

Our routine kind of depends on what our 4 year old is doing, whether he is at nursery or at home. I definitely find it easier being out of the house!

12 weeks here. We haven’t got a routine as such but the mornings we do a wash round with warm water and cotton pads, nappy change. A little play and feed then he goes back to sleep. From then I just go with whatever he does regarding sleeping and waking, in his wake windows we do tummy time. Lots of talking and singing, sometimes reading. He has some time in his swing chair and just lots of cuddles. Then around 7 I do a bath, he has a bottle and goes down around half 7/8 for a good few hours sleep x

Thank you all, it’s just hard to know during the wake windows if you’re doing enough! X

No routine other than bath, bottle bed at 10pm. Next week we start baby light sensory and swimming. He is 12 weeks tomorrow (Sunday) After most of his feeds he has a half hour nap and that prevents witching hour at 6-8pm. After last bottle at 10pm he sleeps throughout the night 🥰

@Melissa if you are on Instagram I would highly recommend giving Ruth a follow, she talks so much sense and really makes me feel reassured that I'm not doing anything "wrong" and it is developmentally expected that babies don't sleep through the night. Really worth watching her videos :) https://www.instagram.com/ahealthvisitor?igsh=eWxpcHE1OW94NG5n

Not really a routine through day as it depends what we have planned & my 5 year old, but we tend to be up at 6am, play a little then every hour & half he naps & we just do some tummy time & talking in awake window unless at a sensory group - he’s 10 weeks x

No routine at all! I try to squeeze in some tummy time or I put him in the swing close to the garden door because he really enjoys looking at outside 😂😂😂 But with the toddler, the mat activity is hit and miss, maybe when the toddler goes back to nursery from tomorrow I can do more with baby.

Roughly this since I’ve been able to. She’s 13 weeks Friday. Wake 6ish- EBF, contact nap, wake time on me 8ish- I get up, hopefully she crib naps while I shower. Then maybe tummy time after so she’s up 10- another feed 11-daily pram walk 1-another feed 2+ go with the flow and have no somewhere we she’ll take it. 6- family pram walk with dog 7-bath time 8-9-bed time In honesty, the routine is mainly for my mental health, so I can get out the house and cope with the day! We respond to the baby and feed and see when she wants etc.

When people are saying "bed time" are you going down with them or are they staying in the crib on their own? Mine is 8 weeks old so a little early for a routine but she is hating the crib ATM so a lot of bed sharing.. appreciate that a lot changes week by week but I can't imagine being able to put her to bed and for her to stay :D
