kidney infection or kidney stones
have u had either? been sent home from being in really bad pain for 12 hrs, no pain relief told to go back at 8am for a scan also had blood in stool

I had a kidney infection recently and it was so incredibly painful in my left side and I’d throw up, get high fevers, barely could walk
Had a scan, came back clear. Still in alot of pain though and been sent home with no pain relief! hoping i'm feeling better tomorrow xx

I’ve had both. With kidney infection I had bad pain on one side and blood in urine but I also felt very unwell, fevers, vomiting, stomach pain. With the kidney stone I was just getting waves of pain in my side and to my pelvis and it was really painful when I was going for a wee. I did have blood in my urine with the stones but I couldn’t see it, they just found it one a dipstick. Hopefully you get some answers, they’re both horrible x
