Baby Carrier Q

Does anyone experience baby's legs looking a bit constricted/patchy/like the blood is limited, when baby wearing for a long time(ie. 1 hour or more)? If so, how did you adjust the carrier? I have the one with an adjustable panel(little frog) and I make sure that the knee pit touches the panel to maintain the 'M' shape. I sent a video to the lady who does baby wearing consults but she said it all looked fine. But I'm still experiencing the issue.

I have this when baby wearing for similar timeframes. I use a Tula. Have always put it down to my bubs being huge (12kg). Don’t have a solution I’m afraid….so following with interest….worst I find when front facing than when he’s rear facing (only when sleeping now he’s older)

Hi, babywearing peer supporter here! Have you given baby a good pelvic tuck to make sure knees are higher than bum? I wear my boy pretty much all the time and with a good tuck up you shouldn’t have the issue. It sounds as though it’s digging in which if it’s in the knee pit shouldn’t be happening.

@Abbie yep, I thought it was because my baby is 90th centile and has chunky legs. And usually carry him facing me. Have yet to pluck the courage to carry him on my back.

@Jasmine thank you. Yes, it feels like something is digging in. Would you mind if I message you privately and send the video of how the carry looks? Thanks.
