Extra set of clothes always keep a couple of diapers that are a size bigger in addition to the size baby is in. Bibs, burp clothes and diaper rash cream

Diapers Wipes Ointment Changing mat Change of clothes Pacifiers (if using) Breast feeding cover (if breastfeeding) Bottles Formula travel container (if formula feeding) Burp cloths Blanket I also like to keep a ziplock or some diaper bags to put dirty clothes I need to take off so they aren’t just thrown in the bag dirty That’s really all the essentials everything else is pretty much extra or preference As far as aftercare I use adult diapers (think my last one I did always brand) for the first few days postpartum until my bleeding has slowed then I’ll change to pads. Make sure your still taking some vitamins especially if you plan on breastfeeding but everything postpartum is really your preference if you tear or need comfort tucks pads are good! Other then that just try and enjoy every moment they grow way too fast 🥹
