If you didn’t labour first time, how long was your Vbac?

Didn’t labour the first time due to baby being breech so my body hasn’t ever had contractions. Has anyone else had this and how long was their labour/is there anything I can do to prepare? Thanks

My active labour with my VBAC (only got to 3cm before my section) was 4 hours and 46 minutes 😊 the bit getting to 4cm took a long time though 😂

Yes! I had this exactly! First baby was breech so never laboured. Second baby successful vbac!! My labour was fairly quick I think 6 hours total! I did everything in the book to prepare!! Whether it worked or not I gave it a try! Had raspberry leaf tea everyday, a date smoothie everyday. Walked, went to the gym until 38 weeks. Had sex! But all of it was worth it for a vbac. I did go over to 40+6 (the hospital scheduled a repeat c-section for 41 weeks as I refused to be induced! Luckily baby came the day before! 😅

If you had a previous c section. They won't let you go over 12 an half hours of VBAC/ induced because of the risk of scar rupture.

Took a couple days.

Hard to say. I did labour to 4cm in my first labour and my VBAC still went on for 3 days 🙃

Had my VBAC 5 days ago. Contractions started at 1 in the morning ( could have been earlier but I was asleep and they woke me up ). They were quite mild until around 9am. I went to the hospital at 10.30am to be assessed. Midwife was going to send me home as I was only 1cm dilated. And then by 12 my waters broke 😂 was fully dilated by 4pm!! It was very intense as soon as my waters broke. Hardest part for me the pushing part, I pushed for 3 hours 🫣 but my actual labour time wasn’t that long and I did it unmediated so try not to panic too much about it!
