Anyone else’s baby really active most days and then some days you just can’t feel them?

I’m monitoring it for an hour and if something doesn’t feel right I’ll go to triage.

Yes. This drives me wild, I’ve been in twice with reduced movements and both times she’s been absolutely fine but I just don’t feel her, I’ve downloaded a kick monitor app on my phone and by this time yesterday I had already felt her 7x today I’ve felt her twice. Xx

This literally drives me insane. I notice a difference on the weekends which I presume is due to my daily activities being different. I went into hospital last weekend with reduced movements and then was totally fine for the week. Then get to this weekend just gone and I couldn’t feel him barely at all. Have a midwife appointment in a minute so going to ask

Yes! Had this yesterday :(

@Stella me too, I’ve been in quite a few times, most recently tonight. It’s when she turn around and starts kicking towards my back xx

@Sophie same, oh really? Yea that makes sense. Did your midwife have any advice?

@Emma how are you today? X

Sorry I should have messaged as her advice was good. She said movements should be the same everyday with no difference on days that I’d be doing different activities. She said what could be different is my perception of the movements which makes sense. She said if I had any doubts to please please call and come in to be safe. That’s there’s never too many times to go in and they’d rather me be cautious than not. She also advised to look out for trends in timing as opposed to total activity. So if he’s always moving in the evening and then one day he doesn’t that’s a warning sign. As opposed to how many times he normally kicks. Hope this helps!

Yes good thanks active as normal. I do have an anterior placenta so I wonder as that gets bigger if it affects any movement I feel, but all seems okay thank you. You?
