I had it twice this pregnancy. Once for pneumonia and the other a double sinus infection
Im currently taking them now for sinusitis. Finish the course tomorrow and had no problems x
It destroys the babies gut microbiome. That being said it depends how sick youvare or what its for. Ive just come through 4weeks of extreme sicknes fevers/ sinus infection and flu etc and refused antibiotics as im not comfortable with the risk to baby. I did herbs and home remedies etc that are safe and ok instead. Each perosn needs to decide what they feel comfortable with though and depends how sick or bad things are.
Yes I’ve not long finished a course of Amoxicillin for a dental abscess. Completely safe! I’m 32+4 ☺️ The above comment is a touch misleading as it is implying that taking antibiotics poses a risk to baby.. ultimately if you are not well, your baby will be affected by this. Doctors won’t just prescribe drugs during pregnancy for the fun of it and they’re always checked by pharmacists to ensure they are pregnancy safe! It’s always best to treat the infection as soon as possible to prevent the infection from turning into sepsis which could potentially be fatal to both you AND baby 😊
I was on amoxacillin when I was pregnant with my son, there where no problems. And that's what my son had when he had a couple of chest infections before he was 1
