Head circumference baby

Hi everyone, Just wondering if anyone has a baby with a head circumference bigger than average. For reference, my baby is 8 month old, head circumference is around 48 cm, which is 97 percentile, meaning only 3 percent babies his age have a head bigger than him. Doctor was initially concerned but then said maybe its juat that he has a slightly bigger head and it would get proportional qhen he grows older All other milestones are great, no other issue that can indicate a syndrome or any issue Just wondering if someone experienced similar thing

My son has a large head because his dad does. It could proportion out, but he might just have a big head and hard time finding hats/glasses

Unless there's a reason to be concerned, like frequent headaches or noticeable sudden changes in head shape, he probably just has a big head and it'll look more proportional once he's grown a bit more.
