Contractions?

Can someone tell me if I’m being dramatic or do these look like contractions? I’ve been having pains since around 5am but I assumed they were Braxton hicks but they are quite low down pains which make me catch my breath. The pain is in my lower belly/bikini line and my lower back Lost my mucus plug last week. No bloody show yet I’m 38+3

For context this is my second baby. I didn’t labour with my first due to an EMCS so I’ve no idea what contractions are meant to feel like

They could be contractions and early labor Once they are around 5 minutes apart or your water breaks then go to the hospital or wherever you are giving birth Not everyone has a bloody show before labor

No bloody show is okay not everyone has that. I’d keep track and see if they come closer together like 5 minutes apart. You can always talk to ob after hours line should be a doctor on call to help

Didn't have a bloody show until I was in full active labour (1.5 mins apart and lasting 90 seconds) If its braxton hicks...changing positions...drinking a bunch of water and moving around will help. But considering it's every 10 minutes approx...congratulations girl you're in labour!!

If they continue for over an hour you’re in labor. Depending on how far you are from your birth place I’d leave when I’m 4 min apart

I actually ended up phoning my midwife because I had my bloody show then the pains stopped for around an hour but then came back and were exactly like before except more painful 😵‍💫She had me come down and confirmed that I am 2cm dilated and definitely having contractions however wasn’t concerned as they are so sporadic just now🥲Sent home to make sure I’m ready to go and to get on my ball and start bouncing so hopefully this is the real thing 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Listen to your body. If they are getting closer together you should consider going to the hospital, if you water breaks before you do, you will have stronger & more painful contractions.

Yeah, that's good, do hip circles on the ball also
