I sent my sons out 2 months in advance because we have family out of state. If most of the family were in state then I’d do a month.
I think the earlier to better especially in spring/summer because people go away more and do more bbqs and stuff so best to get dates in x
2 months because we have a lot of invitees who aren't local AND because my son's birthday is a summer one. Last year we heard a lot of "oh we would've altered our vacation date if we knew in advance" from our really close friends.
I ma actually surprised by the amount of people who prefer a 2 month notice.
Earlier the better - i use a digital calendar i live by so once its in it helps me plan other things
The only reason I sent my son's out so early last year was because his soccer and his playcare were ending. His birthday is in October and the last day of both was the weekend before the Labour day (Canada). It also had a minimum two week rsvp deadline
I like to send my kids out 6 weeks in advanced
I send mine out 2mo in advance since our birthdays are at the start of end of a month gives people's time to prepare and save money (gifts are never expected) if they want to buy a gift
I shoot for about a month before. I just got my daughter’s first birthday invitations out about 2 weeks before which I feel is pretty last minute
4-6 weeks is pretty standard. Sometimes we get one as a heads up in the school WhatsApp group 2+ months ahead but the proper invitation doesn't come out until later. The earlier the better tbh!
I like invites 4-6 weeks especially for summer parties bc we have so many birthdays to celebrate so I like to just have them planned already. So far for July we’ve been invited to celebrate 5 birthdays already between 3 different parties so far and will be getting at least one more invite from a close friend . Personally I send invites out a little over a month in advance they r e-vites they get delivered thru text/email and then I set a reminder to RSVP guests a week in advance .
