I heard it’s because of the bacteria in formula so I’m still sterilising

@Casey isn’t that why we use boiled water though? Sterilising the bottles won’t kill the bacteria in formula
@Hayley That’s what I think. I still sterilise because it’s says too but I don’t actually understand it 😅
I think the formula can cling onto the plastic on the bottles and the bacteria can linger if not sterilised. It’s specifically formula that grows a particular type of bacteria. I don’t think you need to if using pumped breastmilk as not the same risks but if you want to eliminate any bacterial contamination it’s still good practise to.
What about the bacteria on my kitchen floor that my son now licks on the regular 😂😂😂😂. I still steralise though but it’s stupid hahaha

If formula feeding your supposed to keep sterilising until they are on cows milk. I don’t completely understand why.
