I had severe after birth cramping, can’t take nsaids due to another medication I’m on; and it was awful. And made so much worse when I nursed. The nurse told me it’s worse with each kid (this was my second) and akin to contractions. It was absolutely awful but it did get better after a few days. Heating pad helps some too
@Bailey yea I am, that makes sense
@Allie yea it felt exactly like contractions I was baffled, but I’m glad it’s not just me
Yup I’m talking extreme cramping like close to contraction pain, I was worried as I was passing pretty bad blood clots so I called my OB and they said the pain was normal as long as the clots didn’t become larger than golf ball sized. Finally after 15 days it has subsided to a period consistency and the cramping has gone away
Yep it was way worse this time than the first time for me. I took pain killers every 6 hours for the first week 🥲 I'm nearly 2 weeks pp now though and they've stopped.
@Mari I’m only 8 days in so I pray 15 days or less is my limit
Are you breastfeeding? I’ve been experiencing some intense cramping which has coincided with breastfeeding. I’ve read into that being normal and a sign your uterus is contracting and shrinking back to its normal size.
