Frustration
I am feeling so low. I had a MMC end of Feb and I have been still spotting/brown discharge and upset stomach since. I rang EPU that refused to see me and I spoke to the doctors twice who said give it some time.
I called the gynaecology assessment unit up who saw me before and they asked me to come in today and the scan confirmed 1.5cm of retained products still. I was told it's too small for surgery but antibiotics should help it leave so I'm on antibiotics and if not better to call them back for another scan.
I just feel so deflated and I just want this to end. Sorry I don't know why I'm posting but just need to speak to someone x

I’m so sorry this has happened to you it is so angering when no one will listen to you too. I hope you feel better soon and can begin to “move on” on whatever way you can as I know we never really move on from these things x
Thank you guys for replying. 💕 @Nerida I was told by two nurses and consultants that they treat antibiotics for retained tissue which is that small. I'll definitely go back if there is no improvement. My pregnancy tests/blood work is negative for pregnancy. Xx

I’m sorry this happened to you. It’s very similar to what happened to me and I took medical management a second time. I’m surprised you weren’t offered that. I think perhaps you were given incorrect information. Antibiotics won’t help with retained tissue - they will only treat or prevent the infection you can get from having retained tissue. I would ask for another course of medical management. Otherwise you can wait and you’re pretty protected from infection being on antibiotics but I’m sure you just want to move on! Are you still having faint pregnancy tests?
