Time to stand her up! Maybe also time to take a first (or second) try at potty training.
I had to switch to the pampers swaddlers, the pull up kind lol. my daughter is about to turn one (😭) and she LOATHES diaper and clothing changes. it takes two of us to get her dressed after her bath every night 😂
My son loves it when I blow raspberries on his belly or pretend that his foot is a phone, so I do that after his diaper is on. He lays still in eager anticipation.😂 Other things that have helped my kids stay still for changes: a Highlights Hello baby magazine, my phone locked into the photo app (Guided Access) so baby can’t delete photos, squeaky toys, asking “what does *animal* say?” and making different animal sounds, reciting the I Kissed the Baby book, etc. Mainly, my method is distraction, offer a form of anticipation, change diaper while interacting with baby, follow up with what they were anticipating. Once they learn that this is the routine, diaper changes are a breeze! I’ve used cloth diapers with pins and staying still was a necessity, so this works! If you have an extra wriggly baby, I recommend Pampers 360° because they don’t have tabs. Just legs in and pull up. ❤️
I am literally fighting every diaper change 🤣😂
I hand him things now. Anything he loves for me to hand him stuff to focus on. Distract and keep their mind busy
@Bonny my baby is 7months 😭😭😭😭😭
@Ebony I try literally everything and this baby will not focus lol she’s just focused on turning and avoiding diaper change
Oh 7 months is that stage: it will pass mommy!
For a second I was confused because I swear I didn’t write this post lol. My son is exactly the same. Loool
Oh yeah mine is a squirmer too on the change mat lol
