?? How in any way would he be behind if he’s doing those three things at 4 months? And baby’s move at their own pace. He’s definitely not behind.

Forsure not behind just probably focusing on something different right now. Just encourage time on back to practice but also my lg already had rolled over but now only focusing on trying to sit up and usually wont roll over.

Thank you. Just worried. The pediatrician made it seem like if he’s not rolling he’s behind at his 4 month appointment

He’s not behind. Boys developed a lot slower than females to. Both my daughter and my son chose to sit up and crawl more than rolling over. My daughter didn’t even start trying to roll over until she was almost 5 months. every baby is different, one person’s advice might not work for yours. Best advice anybody can give you. Is just do what you can. Babies are gonna do what they wanna do and they all develop differently.

If you have TikTok, you can look up some videos and there are some physical therapist that show you some different movements that you can try to encourage your baby to roll over.

If you have TikTok, here is a link to an occupational therapist who shows you seven different things you can do to help encourage and to roll

Thank you! There’s an 8 year age difference between my kids. So it’s also Been awhile.

Yeah, there’s a five year gap between my kids and I’ve definitely been struggling this time around lol you may also be able to find classes. There are two ladies here in Temple that are physical therapist and occupational therapist and they do weekly developmental classes. It’s like a big giant tummy time class and they show you tips and tricks and different things that you can do. The class I go to with my son is only 30 bucks and it’s once a week for an hour. My son has really bad acid reflex and so he struggles with tummy time and they have been a big help.

He’s not behind at all. I had the same concern so when he got his 4 month vaccines I asked if it’s okay. The nurse said he’s meeting all his other milestones so there’s nothing to worry about, he’ll learn at his own pace. He’ll be 5 months old this Saturday and yesterday out of nowhere he started consistently rolling from back to belly lol hasn’t figured out belly to back quite yet but he’s getting close. No need to rush anything :)
