Same here! I can relate to this so much! I’ve been extra bloated this cycle following my miscarriage at 6 weeks. I also got ovulation cramps which normally doesn’t happen. I was almost convinced that I was pregnant again and then tested negative and got my period. šŸ™ƒ I’m assuming our hormones are still trying to regulate themselves.

Yess it's so weird, it's as if my body was trying to replicate pregnancy symptoms even though I know I'm not šŸ˜… digestion is a mess too!

I have been having painful cramps which is not like me and so much bloat. I haven't started yet (been cramping fir 2days) I feel like my body is playing with me I have had brown discharge and nothing. I wish it would just start so I can start my first cycle

Me too! I actually can't wait for this period šŸ™ At this point, let's just get it over with! I've been wondering what's wrong, cyst, infection...anxiety has been all over the place. But it could very well be just hormones regulating as Lauren said :)

I asked Chat GPT and this is what it said, ā€œit’s very common to experience more bloating during your first few cycles after a miscarriage. Your body is still regulating hormone levels—especially estrogen and progesterone—which can fluctuate significantly and lead to symptoms like: Water retention Digestive slowdown (progesterone can slow your GI tract) Temporary imbalance in gut bacteria from stress or hormonal shifts Delayed or irregular ovulation, which can make luteal phase symptoms feel more intenseā€

I’m glad I’m not alone in this!

@Cath how early was your miscarriage?
