ECV and induction
I'm basically looking for some positive experiences.
I'm currently 37 + 5 weeks with 3rd baby. Unfortunately, he is in the Frank Breech position. Went to triage on Monday with irregular contractions and was kept overnight and most of Tuesday for observations. I was told that 2 cm dilated means nothing as I have already given birth twice.I'm booked for an ECV tomorrow morning at 9 am, and if successful, I will have induction at 12. Pressure, back pain, and irregular contractions have continued ( I have been told that it's only braxton hicks and other symptoms MAY be related to a SUSPECTED water infection). Basically, I just want to hear some positive ECV followed by indication experiences. Please
I had a successful ecv on Monday, baby has been breech since 28 weeks, now 37 weeks I was expecting it to horrific as heard so many horror stories but honestly it was absolutely fine. They inject your tummy( just under the skin) to relax you. They pushed babies bum out of my pelvis with they’re thumbs then held the bum and head and turned her around, was quick and a little uncomfortable but nothing I couldn’t handle and so far she seems to have stayed there, being induced next Wednesday x
