You'll be fine without one, it's not a must have. I only have mine to help with pgp otherwise I wouldn't have bothered as they do just get in the way 🤣
I lived on my birthing ball for weeks leading up to having my first and I ended up in emergency c section because his head was stuck on an angel anyway so don’t think it made much difference with positioning for us so may not bother this time 🤣
i ain’t getting one i think they’re a waste of money xx
@Lauren I also have pgp & back ache but currently using a massage gun & taking baths which are currently helping.
me too!! it’s awful isn’t it. i’m in agony but i was the same with my daughter and the ball didn’t help so i didn’t bother this time. just suffering😩🤣
Oh I absolutely love mine! I sit on it everyday cause the sofa is so bloody uncomfortable now. Nice to do some exercises on it too, whether it helps get baby head down or not I dunno but defo makes me feel more comfortable so it’s a win in my eyes
I got mine for a fiver in home bargains and love it. I have a tight muscle in my bum cheek which acts up and sitting on the ball works wonders, i find it much more comfortable than the sofa. It's also great for back ache and getting you moving a little bit.
They are meant to promote upright positions and pelvic mobility, which in turns help baby engage into the birthing position. Tbh I use mine mainly for back pain as sitting on the sofa is crippling me 😂
