Shortness of Breath

Hey mamas! Is anyone else having a lot of shortness of breath? My OB said it’s totally normal and I don’t have it all the time, but any time I climb stairs or when I lay down to sleep at night I feel like I’m struggling. It’s not enough to where I feel faint or dizzy, but it kinda feels like something is sitting on my chest. I don’t remember having this with my first and I have health anxiety so it’s stressing me out a little 🥲

I have this!

Yes, I have it and is annoying af. This is also my second pregnancy and I have gotten very big very soon. All the organs are squeezed already. For sleeping, i use a nose strip and helps tremendously. I have considered using it during the day as well but mu toddler would rip it off me.

On my second pregnancy and I’m for sure starting to notice the more uncomfortable symptoms starting.

Thank you yall have made me feel a little better. @Yomara I’ve also gotten big pretty quickly this time so I feel like there’s just a lot of pressure in my chest and it’s super uncomfortable. I’ve been checked out and told everything is normal but it’s hard to feel normal when I wake up in the middle of the night or have to stop walking to take deep breaths because I feel like someone is sitting on me 😭

I’m the same way and it’s so annoying! I am a heavier set girl but it’s never been this bad I’m 26 weeks and last night I took and shower then walked upstairs and I was out of breath and seeing stars

I am 25 weeks and am also experiencing this. I am an active person so it’s hard to get used to!

@Amanda yes! I was a runner before pregnancy and now I just try to find the closest parking spot at the store 😅

Yes! I’m 25 weeks and I find it hard to take a deep breath. One thing that helps me is if I left up my belly from the bottom it alleviates some of the pressure and I’m able to take a few deep breaths.

Yes it’s very normal I’m on my second pregnancy and being outta breath when u barley do anything feels like u ran a whole marathon I’m having it as of now

Baby number 4 and I’m always outta breath
