I’m using Gaviscon liquid when it’s unbearable but tbh the only thing that works is not eating the foods that cause it. For me it’s sugar, processed foods & white bread. When I have it mildly, a couple tea spoons of greek yoghurt or a couple sips of milk for instant relief
I’ve been on Omeprazole since really early on but I’ve noticed if I eat too late I wake up with awful reflux, Gaviscon is what’s helping with that at the moment. Definitely try get some Omeprazole for the last few weeks x
Contacting your gp for omeprazole is definitely the best option! I’ve taken it in both pregnancies and no heartburn or reflux since!! Like a miracle drug for me 😂x
Ginger ale is the only thing that helps give Me any relief 😮💨
I’ve had omeprazole since like 12 weeks definitely made a huge difference in comparison to rennies or gaviscon!
Omeprazole is the best option just request it from your GP
Also agree with omeprazole. I need it everyday. Often also take Gaviscon double action sachets or Rennie when it's extra bad. Sleeping with your head a bit elevated can help, not eating a few hours before bed and weirdly almonds can sometimes help ease symptoms for me. Mine seems to be set off by so much there's not much point in my eliminating foods anymore I tend to just limit a few things I know can make it worse. It is awful though. Just trying to make it more manageable and hope it settles a bit after birth 😅
Cold milk
Phone your midwife or gp for an omeprozole prescription, my symptoms completely disappeared
