Birthday/Mothers day STRUGGLE

Anyone else here dealing with the bday/Mother’s Day overlap struggle? Last year my son’s first birthday was ON Mother’s Day. I was not a fan. This year his bday is the day after Mother’s Day which is a Monday. So I’ve decided to have his birthday party on Saturday the 10th. Which is Mexican Mother’s Day 😭😭😭 I can’t catch a break (so many of my friends are Hispanic). We’re doing an outdoor park party and 3 parks I’ve looked at are having Mother’s Day events so I had to choose a different location😭 I’m so tired and annoyed with myself for getting preeclampsia 2 years ago and being induced that weekend 🤣 his original due date was the 21st which would’ve been much easier! Just a rant 😭

My sons is 4 days before mine lol and Mother’s Day is the day after 😭 I get it

I’ve got my niece and nephews birthdays this weekend, then Mother’s Day, and then my son’s birthday the following weekend. Definitely a pain trying to get gifts, plan Mother’s Day for myself, my mom, stepmom and MIL, and planning a party.

My son is May 13th we will celebrate on Mother's day (again)🤣🤣

Yeah 😂 my son's birthday is the 10th and mine is actually today. Then I'm due with twins the week of Father's day 😂😂😂

My girl was born the day after Mother’s Day. She’s on the 15th so we are clear this year 😂

My daughter's birthday is on Mother's Day this year😂

My daughter’s birthday is the 13th. We’re having her party on the 17th!

@Cheyann my best friends birthday is the 16th & sometimes it’s on Father’s Day! You have a busy month!

@KK my twins are supposed to be born between the 10th and 17th 😂 yes we do 😂 I'm hoping they will be born the 10th because their brother was 10lbs and the twins are measuring about the same as he was at this point so to me the earliest as safely possible is best, but his birthday is May 10th, so they would be exactly a month apart 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

@Cheyann what do you guys celebrate in August 🤣🤣🤣 me and my sons father are both born in August 😅😅😅

@KK I don't think we have anything in August, but we have my husbands, sister's, and step sister's birthdays in September 😂😂 my grandma's birthday was in August but she passed away 8 years ago. We also have my mom's, mother-in-law's, sister's and brother's birthday in July 😂😂 plus my nephews birthday is also in June 😂😂 I think there's at least one birthday in each month in our family except August and November 😂😂

My girl was born on the 29th. (It was Memorial Day in 2023.) Between the holiday weekend and graduations happening it has been a struggle to plan her birthday and for people to attend.

My MIL’s birthday is on Mother’s Day and my toddlers birthday is a week after, my poor husband 😂 and his due date was June 7th so I totally understand the annoyance lol

My daughter’s birthday is May 11, which is Mother’s Day this year. Having the party on the 10th. I’m not happy about the holiday conflict either 🫠 in terms of party planning and people showing up but just gotta make the best of it.
