Birthday presents
It’s a bit of a while away but what ideas do you guys have for presents for babies 1st birthday? We’re thinking about a tonie box but I’ve heard some are rubbish can you tell me what ones to avoid.

For my babies 1st we’re going to get a personalised toy box, clothes and a couple of learning toys as she’ll most probably get toys from family x
I'm going to buy a little family photoshoot at a special local park - 1 year olds don't need hundreds of toys really they often just get overwhelmed, but something like that can be cherished by you both in the future!
Toys that have stood the test of time for my little boy are: Toy kitchen Car garage Duplo bricks Wooden train track with trains Little tikes car These he got when he was one and still plays with them at nearly 3 years

We had a Tonie box for our first borns first birthday and I think it’s brilliant! And now providing amusement for our second. I’d say start with the musical ones. There’s a nursery rhymes Tonie and a coco melon songs one. Both are firm favourites still. Also there’s creative tonies you can record onto yourself so favourite songs etc. Now our first is older we also have things like the gruffalo story etc on there too and he loves it. You can often find people selling the characters second hand on Facebook/ vinted etc too.
