Pain during sex

Hey ladies, I’m 19 months postpartum now (I had a c-section) and the left side of my scar would always hurt before and during my periods for the past months. I’ve had an ultrasound done, a few months ago transvaginal as well to make sure there’s no hernias or anything and everything was okay. This period was a bit different because my scar didn’t hurt very much during my period, but instead I experienced a really bad pain during intercourse, it was a couple days before my period started it hurt on the left side of my lower belly. I’ve never really experienced any pain or discomfort during intercourse so this was weird but I brushed it off. So yesterday was the last day of my period and it was pretty much gone in the evening, and the pain occurred again. Really weird and uncomfortable pain during sex Has anyone experienced anything similar? Not in general but just all of the sudden? Should I go to the doctor? (Sorry for long post!!)
