Postpartum cramps

Omg yes, it felt like I was in labour again! I didn’t get anything like it after my first but my second it was so painful!x

Me too! I actually feel like contractions have started again 🤢. How long did it take to go? I was just checking it’s normal x

Yep! Didn’t get them at all first time round but they were bad this time, especially when feeding

Yes, so much worse!

Yes definitely. First few days like strong period pains and after that still lots of cramp down there. I’m 2 weeks post partum and it’s much better now

@Alexandra yeah I checked with the midwife cause I was worried, they lasted a few days x

Yep. We were told they are worse with every child you have. Had baby number four 9 days ago and the after pains were horrible! Had them for about 3 days

It’s your uterus contracting to go back to size after being stretched. You don’t get it after the first one. Because your uterus doesn’t need work as hard. But it’ll get more painful with each baby. Because your uterus needs to work harder and harder each time to get back to its normal size (This is what a few midwives told me)

Ahh it’s worse. Definitely with your first you don’t feel it.

Aparently gets worse with each baby! I was really shocked by the pain.
