Implantation bleeding

At 5 weeks

@Sarah According to my last period, I’ll be 5 weeks tomorrow. Did you have any symptoms with it such as lower back pain or anything?

5.5 weeks and then again at 8 weeks xx

I thought implantation bleeding happens when the fertilized egg implants. A few days after ovulation/ before or around your period is supposed to come? Am I wrong?

@Irina It could be true. I’ve heard of people having late implantation as well. I guess it depends on the woman and their cycles.

No pain or anything just bleeding it looked like a lot as well and I panicked but everything was fine

I've never had implantation bleeding with all my pregnancies so I cannot speak from experience. I just learned something new, which is good :)

@Irina I had a haematoma caused by implantation which didn’t bleed at the time but bled at 5.5 and 8 weeks. I was surprised too as I hadn’t heard of it and was convinced it was something bad. Both times I was scanned and the first time you could see the area in my uterus where the haematoma was, the second time it wasn’t there, presumably because it had completely drained by then x

I had it at 5 weeks with my eldest, no symptoms other than the bleeding.
