Ponder?

Was doom scrolling Instagram while nap trapped and came across a birth announcement for a baby boy named Ponder. I don’t know if it’s because the full name flowed very nicely together or what, but the name stopped me in my tracks. Ponder is definitely “out there” for our typical taste, though. I can’t decide if I like it or if it feels like the parents are trying too hard to be unique. It just *feels* very peaceful to me. Makes me feel like I’m meandering by a stream in the Sierra Nevada mountains while pondering life, lol. I went to school with someone who had the surname Ponder. Have never encountered it as a first before, though. Thoughts/impressions? Leave it as a verb or could it make a usable name?
