Dummies…

My little girl is 18 months old and my son is 9 weeks old. She has an obsession of grabbing his dummy and trying to give it to him. Everytime she touches the teat it I take it and put it in the steriliser but she does this multiple times throughout the day , and she is just trying to be helpful🙈 My question is do I really have to sterilise it every time? I’m happy to keep doing so but it would be so much easier if I didn’t have too haha.

I never sterilized it. I just put it in my mouth and gave it back or I’d wipe it off. If it got real dirty I’d do soap and water.

Does your daughter still use them on. Normal basis? The way we got my oldest to not touch them was having them look different. My daughter had the girly looking ones and he had others.

To clean it, my mom would put it in her mouth. My dad rinsed it off. I used soap&water. Lots of different ways 🤷‍♀️

If it falls during the day or my toddler grabs it I just rinse of with water. I only sterilize once a day. I put all bottles and pacifiers in the sterilizer after they’ve gone to sleep for the night

My little boy is 23 months old and my little girl is 8 weeks old, honestly I just shove it in my mouth and then give it her unless he’s took it outside with him and shoved it in his water table then it gets sterilised😂
