@Darlisa that’s the best way to serve it so they can pick it up 😊 my girl loves it this way and will chew little bits off it. Totally depends on the baby and what you feel comfortable giving them though 💕

@Darlisa I totally get it! It’s such a minefield 🙈 my girl doesn’t have any teeth yet either but it’s surprising what she can chew! Check out the Solid Starts app as the free version will tell you how to serve foods appropriately based on age. Also it really helped me going on a baby first aid course and learning the difference between gagging (which is good and normal) vs choking
@Darlisa babies definitely don’t need teeth to do BLW. My girl has loved things like chicken and toast etc since 6 months old There’s some good weaning groups on Facebook to join too to help build your confidence x
Can your baby eat the burger whole like that? I’ll be afraid to give my son that. He is still on purées and steamed vegetables soft enough for him to eat
