I also have this 😩

@Amy how far along are you? And how long have you had it for please?

Yep! Had it since 15-16 weeks! Think mine is pelvic girdle pain

please can you explain how the pain feels and where exactly? past 2 days i’ve been feeling twinges. it’s not painful but also noticeable in a way were it’s abit like throbbing but not painful. i’m 17w 2days and noticed it on my right hand side

@Rukshana mine feels similar

@Kirsty I’m also getting it here and it’s referred to as lightening crotch I believe

Mine travels upwards as well so mine is definitely PGP. Also lightening crotch is sudden, mine is gradual and does last a little while. I find swimming helps a lot because you can take pressure off your entire body and it's absolutely wonderful. Massive relief 😊

@Kirsty yeah mine is sudden and then goes

Yours would probably be lightening crotch then. I've only been having mine since bump has begun growing and I've been trying to get used to sleeping on my left side.

I have been getting this too! For me it feels like pressure in my lower abdomen and very occasionally a sharp pain. I’m 17 weeks today and just started getting it the last few days

I also have it on the left side mostly, that travels from the crotch area to the lower back. Sometimes a dull, bruise like pain, sometimes sharp pain. Especially when standing on one leg, or bending to put on socks, or when rolling in bed from side to side... Basically any movement that involves that area. Started on 11-12 weeks and unfortunately not getting better. I went to physio and they gave me PGP exercises that I've been doing for 3 weeks (not improving the pain much but strengthening the muscles in that low back area). What helps me the most is technique they physio taught me: every time you use those joints, contract (squeeze) your glutes and sort of tilt your pelvic "inward". It reduced the workload on the problematic area. Also keep the knees together when rolling in bed, getting into the car etc... in absolutely most cases these pains go away after delivery!

Yup! Mine started around 14/15 weeks. This is my second x

Yes I've had this for the last 3 weeks or so. I found that sleeping with a pillow in between my legs help and stretches. I joined a pregnancy class, bought myself a pilates ring and a pregnancy ball and just doing 10 minutes of stretching a day in the morning helps
