When do you go hospital for contractions?
Not my first baby, but with my first my waters broke before I even started having contractions so not sure when you’re supposed to go and be told if you’re labouring or not? I’ve seen people say when they’re x and y apart but how do I know they’re contractions?

My first my waters didn't break until I was well into labour and at the hospital. The advice they gave me was to come when the contractions were 5 mins apart and if I was finding the pain too intolerable. I had back labour, so genuinely not sure if it feels different not having that 🤣 been getting tightenings across my tummy which don't feel great but they are super irregular x

Do you not know what contractions feel like? I would have thought with you already having one baby before you’d know! 😂 it’s been the worst pain of my entire life lol, EXTREME period pains in the front, feels as if the bottom of my spine is being repeatedly booted at the same time and my stomach tightens up at the time they’re happening, they come in waves. Mine are currently irregular after a sweep and I am in latent labour but will be induced on Wednesday if baby doesn’t come before then. But I was told to go to hospital either after waters break OR when contractions are 4 minutes apart x
